BucRugby Update: Week of February 23, 2025

Welcome back from Midwinter Break! We are back at it this week with two indoor practices scheduled for:

However, if the snow melts off the Groves High School turf, we will be under the light from 5-7 p.m. as early as Tuesday, February 25. If we get another deep-freeze, we will stick to our two scheduled indoor practices. Be sure to check your email, our website, and our Instagram for updates on if we can get outside this week.

For a look ahead, I download our updated season schedule on our forms page. Our divisional games are now set, as well as our two travel tournaments.

Regarding our travel tournament, our first one is March 14-15. Please start planning to go to the Northcoast High School Rugby Festival. During our players meeting, you decided to accept the invitation and play in this Saturday event in Cleveland. Now, we need at least 15 to 20 players to make the trip. I will be providing additional information about this exciting opportunity at practice this week.

We hope to see some fresh faces this week at practice (on the Groves turf if we are lucky).
