Spring break is here and the Bucs are off this week while school is out until Monday, April 6. This will be our last hiatus in our schedule until the end of May. When we return on April 6, we will be practicing at our regular season field –

The week of April 6 will be a busy one for the team –
Team Social and Fundraiser – We are holding our annual team social and fundraising night on Monday, April 6 at the Side Car Slider Bar in Downtown Birmingham (117 Willits St, Birmingham, MI 48009). A percentage of food sales will be donated to the team to help offset operational costs. So, let’s pack the joint with family, friends, fans, and alumni! We also will be handing out team apparel orders and will have other merch available for purchase.
Player Vertical Raise Fundraiser – We are holding our annual player-led Vertical Raise fundraiser kickoff meeting at practice on Tuesday, April 7. Players need to come to practice with at least 20 emails and 10 phone numbers of family, friends, and supporters that may be willing to donate to the team. Our vision is to not charge anyone to play this great sport for this outstanding team. However, we aren’t there yet. But, we can get closer with a solid Vertical Raise fundraising drive.
April 9 Match vs. Genesee – We open the regular season against Genesee up in Flint on Thursday, April 9. Things are still in flux with this first-year squad and we my see some changes to this scheduled match before we actually get to it. So, stay tuned for more details as we draw closer to gameday.
April 12 Match vs. Toledo Junior Celts – We travel to Toledo (2400 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo, OH 43620) to play the Junior Celts on Sunday, March 12, at 12:30 p.m. This is one only two Sunday matches we have all season. Please hold the date for this game and plan on being at the field by 11:30 a.m. for warm up.
