BucRugby Update: Week of May 24, 2026

Congratulations to the team for winning the state playoffs quarterfinal matchup against Grand Haven High School yesterday in Kalamazoo. The Bucs chalked up another win on a cold, rainy day, advancing them to the semifinals taking place at Farwell Field in Detroit on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Here is how this week will play out –

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: We are holding practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week at Pierce Elementary from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to prepare for the state playoff semifinal game against Forest Hills High School. We need all players to attend practice to help us get ready to take one step closer to a state championship.

Saturday: We play Forest Hills High School on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Farwell Field in Detroit (4444 8 Mile Rd, Detroit, MI 48234). We will communicate the schedule as soon as it is set. Let’s treat this as a home game and get as many family, friends, and fans out to Farwell Field on Saturday as possible.
