BucRugby Update: Week of Feb. 10, 2025

This week is another round of indoor training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday – same times, same places. We hope to get more players making this week’s sessions, as we are then off for Midwinter Break next week. We will be back at it the week of February 24. If the weather warms up, we will try to get out on the Groves turf to start playing some real rugby.

 

In the meantime, we are on for –

 

• Wednesday, February 12, from 4 to 5 p.m.at the Gillham Recreation Center (26325 Scotia, Huntington Woods, MI 48070). We will be starting to introduce other aspects of the game and learning the skills need to perform them.

• Thursday, February 14, 2025, from 6:30-7:45 p.m. at Birmingham Covington School (1525 Covington Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301). We will revisit our new concepts from Wednesday to make sure everyone is progressing at the same pace.

 

Please keep recruiting for the team. We welcome interested student athletes from any area schools in 9th through 12th grade.
