BucRugby Update: Week of January 4, 2026

Happy New Year!

The Birmingham High School Rugby Team is kicking off 2026 with a series of meetings this January. We are hosting two recruiting and season information meetings, as well as our annual season planning meeting.

Be sure to put these dates on your busy schedules –

• Recruiting and Season Information Meeting: Tuesday, January 13, 2025, from 3 to 3:30 p.m. in the Groves Cafeteria.
• Recruiting and Season Information Meeting: Thursday, January 15, 2025, from 3 to 3:30 p.m. in the Seaholm Cafeteria.

The two recruiting meetings are for any and all student athletes interested in playing rugby for the team this spring. Returning and new students should try to make one of these two meetings. We understand that winter sports will be in full swing. So, we hope our veterans will show up with contact information from interested students that couldn’t make either meeting.

• Season Planning Meeting: Thursday, January 15, 2025, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hladki Household.

The season planning meeting is an important meeting where our players set the season goals, guide the direction of our schedule and travel tournaments, decide on apparel, and design the player kit jersey.

Things are starting to heat up for the spring season. So, be sure to recruit and spread the good word of Birmingham High School Rugby!
